Project Requirements

This is where we discover real vision behind the project to understand what's required to connect the dots and get the results the client is looking for.

Michell Ryan is an expert and published author in her field. She wanted a website that was simple with the ability to expand functionality if required.

The challenge for this project was creating a multi-functional website the client required whilst keeping it ‘simple’ at the core.

The client needed to be able to display consumer services, sell physical products and also promote her beauty training academy to sell courses and one-one tuition.

Our Approach

Whatever the project, we research the best solutions based on the project requirements. We then implement those solutions based on our findings and (where appropriate) provide a continuous success program to ensure that goals are consistently achieved long-term.

Although this project had a few elements, at its core it is a localised business with (mostly) regional traffic. We needed to create a website that would dominate the local marketplace (both visually and from an SEO perspective) whilst also providing an avenue for trainee clients (who are from all over the U.K).

The client wanted herself and her staff to be able to add and update products, manage/edit orders, and create promotional e-coupons easily. We chose a platform that not only catered for this but also allowed for extended functionality if required in future (such as the ability to book services with an online booking system).

To aid with simplicity we also decided on a custom-built staff dashboard.

The Result

How we measure results will depend on the project and we adjust accordingly. Where possible, we use S.M.A.R.T goals to measure and improve on a long-term basis.

The client received we website that catered for the needs of her salon, her online shop, and her training academy while also meeting the brief of ‘simplicity.

We provided inbuilt training videos so that any new staff would be able to familiarise themselves relatively easily.

The client has now been with us for a number of years and is currently considering a site refresh with additional functionality.
