How To Get Website Traffic Using Answer The Public
Over the next few videos we’ll be looking at ways you may not have thought of, to drive traffic to your website.
Answer the public is a website that will help you get free (and very targeted) long tail search engine traffic. As far as I know, you simply cannot get these keywords using any other research tool.
Answer the public is a platform that allows you to collect real questions that people type into Google and convert them into long tail keywords that you can use to get free traffic to your website or blog.
Just type in a keyphrase e.g “how to get website traffic”. It will take a short while to collect the keywords for you but you’ll likely end up with several hundred various long tail keywords which are represented in numerous graphical forms and also alphabetically.
Clicking on any of the answers supplied will type it into google so you can check out the competition for that phrase. It’s very easy to find keywords with almost no competition. The only thing it doesn’t do as show you search volume so you would need to do a little research to see if it’s worth writing an article. For that phrase I could see that in the UK there are around 30 searches per month.
That’s obviously not a lot but it’s certainly worth working into some of my content. Another way of tackling this is to take 10 or 20 of these questions (any with under 3000 competition is great) then create one article that covers each of these questions in 100 to 200 words. This would give you an awesome article that’s 1000-2000 words long.
